How storage is used
HoopVexa uses browser storage for essential functions and, with permission, optional measurement. “Cookies” in this policy also refers to comparable browser technologies such as local storage and session storage.
Essential storage
Essential storage supports sign-in sessions, account security, fraud prevention, preferences, form protection and service operation. Disabling it through browser settings may prevent account and community features from working.
First-party audience measurement
A random identifier is held in session storage for the current browser tab to count privacy-safe page views and active visitors per minute. It is not combined with a full IP address and disappears when the tab session ends.
Google Analytics
Analytics storage defaults according to your saved privacy selection. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may store identifiers used to measure sessions and engagement. If you select Limited ads, Analytics storage remains denied and Google may receive limited cookieless Consent Mode signals.
Google AdSense and advertising
When advertising is enabled, limited, contextual or first-party affiliate placements may appear even when personalized advertising is declined. Google and other disclosed advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads. Personalized advertising will be controlled through an appropriate consent process where required. Google advertising cookies may support ads based on visits to HoopVexa or other websites. You may manage personalized Google ads at Google Ads Settings.
Manage your choice
Use the “Privacy & ads” button displayed on HoopVexa pages to manage analytics and personalized advertising. You may also clear or block storage through your browser, although doing so may remove saved preferences or interrupt account sessions.
Changes
This policy will be updated when advertising launches, vendors change, or storage practices materially change. The effective date will appear at the top of this page.
